There are great upgrade drives when you need to replace an existing drive. The speed gain is negligible at best, so don't expect SSD-like performance. You'll notice some increase in download speed, but that's about it. While they're designed to "self-manage" "most used" files and move them to a small internal SSD partition, you'll find that nothing you use seems much faster than when you power up your computer boot. So far it's holding up and working just as well as any regular mechanical drive, so that's it. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with it, but would love to see some of those SSD hybrid speeds it sells.
