My 2005 Subaru Legacy complained about the need for an O2 sensor and I considered buying one of the unnamed cheaper sensors instead of Denso - but after checking half of them I saw tons of upcoming DOA or When I failed after a short time, I decided to stay with the OEM and get a Denso. Relatively easy to install on my Subaru, I was able to sneak into the passenger side of the engine just behind the valve cover and use a wrench to pry it out and unscrew/install a new one. After relearning while idling (at least don't forget that on a Subaru!) the car ran perfectly and I haven't had a CEL since! I've never had an issue with a Denso - I would recommend paying for one unless you intend to replace it multiple times.
