These proprietary USB cables are not only very flimsy, they are also very poor. They won't work if you have a computer with worn out USB ports. You don't get electrical connection in worn ports. I had to look for an extension cord, which luckily worked. This device will most likely be used on used WELL work machines/laptops so don't skimp on cables and understand the customer. I bet this simple reason will get you lots of returns. It's not even a "cheap" device. it's expensive for what they give you. Also a remote control. What a waste if you want to make it out of metal. No one wants to put that ugly cheap thing on their desk. Update: The product is being returned due to a mouse freezing issue. This happens randomly throughout the day for no apparent reason for 30 seconds at a time.
