It was a pleasure to open the box and find such a well packaged, well built product. I was nervous about ordering it as it's less than 1/3 the price of a Mopar, but it's just better made. The case is thicker. Fan runs harder. nothing shaky. Nothing comes cheap about this build. On a note. Be sure to watch a few videos showing how to replace this knot. I can guarantee that if you haven't removed any of these (from this truck model) you will underestimate the difficulty. I've been a mechanic all my life. No one has ever repaired or serviced any of my cars. It doesn't matter how reputable the store is or how extensive the work is. I'll sell it for scrap and buy something else before that happens. That being said, I can honestly say that Dodge designed this part so owners couldn't do any repairs themselves. It's like they're trying their best to discourage DIYers by making this build too hard to remove. maybe to prevent people from throwing their units in the air. This is bad for the atmosphere and also illegal. Many would have done it anyway. However, there are two ways to do this. You can remove half the engine bay, depressurize the system, swap out components, and put it all back together. or you can do like me and cut out a specific section of the old case as well as the new one using a tool that can cut through very hard and thick plastic accurately. to replace the assemblies without removing a lead from the condenser. Of course, this happens after you've managed to lift the condenser and pull it through the front hole (without damaging it) to get to one of the screws. or disassemble the entire fuse box assembly after removing the battery and slide the fuse box back far enough to access the screw to remove the panel and pull it out of the engine compartment while continuing to cut into both panels . I try not to discourage anyone. I'm just trying to make it clear that this isn't amateur work. Things can be damaged very easily. Things that cost a fortune to fix. Watch a few videos first and then decide if you can. Even if you find that this is not the case, I would still recommend purchasing this product and taking it with you wherever repairs are being made.
