🧿 Black Replacement Cooling Fan Assembly for Dodge Ram Pickup - TYC 610730 Review

Difficult to install due to very tight fit. I made modifications to the top left corner so I didn't have to evacuate the system (google it) and it was next to impossible to install. After installation, the gap is not enough, so the fan rubs against the fins of the condenser. To be fair, my non-OEM capacitor, so it's possible the fins are a bit longer than the ORM, but the replacement factory unit had no problem rubbing the non-OEM capacitor.

Worked like a champ. Easy to install by removing the front cross member from the truck. Fits right in as a replacement. DON'T PAY A GARAGE TO INSTALL THIS. It takes about 1 hour and will save you hundreds of dollars. YouTube how to install to see the small cut you need to make, but remember that it's easier to remove the two screws on the cross member in front of the radiator than trying to screw it down and around all the pushing other things around. Great product. Comes with an extra pigtail for different connectors. Not so easy to install yourself if you don't have an AC regenerator. It's not a fan issue, it's a Dodge. You need to remove the 2 rubber bushing retaining bolts, disconnect the condenser from the leads and take the whole thing off. I had to trim the fan shroud a bit to fit, but it's fairly easy to trim with metal snips. After trimming I had to install it which can be a little painful. I removed the hood latch/crossbar and it helped a lot. I tried removing the battery case but gave up the idea as it's not as easy as advertised, at least on my 2006 RAM.
