Review on Experience Optimal Grip: KAVU Peak Seeker Chalk Bag for Rock Climbing, Gymnastics, and Weightlifting by Jonathan Unruh

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bag ok but disappointed

I bought this bag to replace an old bag that was too deep and required you to bend backwards to get your hands in when it was attached to the harness. I like that this bag is smaller and the opening is wider and keeps its shape making it very easy to reach with hands. The problem is that the drawstring that is supposed to close the bag is practically useless. The bag doesn't close completely. Not even close. I can fit 3 fingers in it but that means if it ever tips over in my gear bag I'll be chalking all my climbing shoes, harness etc. I tend to return it. For me, Kavu is a local brand that I usually love. This bag really doesn't live up to their standards. Maybe mine is just broken. The photo is literally before the bag is closed.
