This has no beads in it, which is a very good thing. There’s also no internal ties. It’s just a heavy blanket. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are going from a queen to a king, or similar, you need a heavier blanket, or it will not feel as heavy. Seems obvious in retrospect, but a larger blanket, when covering more area, feels lighter on your body. We adjusted and it’s still fantastic. I’ll buy a heavier one in a couple years.
