The first aid kit was exactly as described, and yes, I counted everything and it all was there. The shears seem decent. It's nice that this kit has more than just Band-Aids. It wouldn't treat multiple major casualties at once, but it has enough in it to treat at least one person with hemorrhaging. It is made in China, so time will tell the longevity and usability of the adhesive bandages (Band-Aids). And though the compass has no liquid in it, it does work. Overall, I'm happy with it.
