Y'all, I just cannot get past the smell. It's just so strong, and so awful. I don't know how well it works, we were only able to use it once. My two year old hasn't had any issues catching lice from our niece while using the Bella B Cradle Cap Shampoo which has tea tree AND smells amazing.

Hard to say if this actually works other than my kids have managed to not get lice. I uses the conditioning spray as well. Thanks for attention.

My 5-year-old daughter has waist-length blond hair and I've received at least a half-dozen lice exposure notices from her preschool/elementary school in the last 18 months. The shampoo does a great job of cleaning her hair (we use it in combination with the lice repel leave-in conditioner), and my daughter has yet to bring home lice from any of her classmates (knock on wood!). The bottle also lasted about 8 months, which is great, especially considering how much hair my daughter has to shampoo.

This does indeed work to repel lice. I keep this and the after-shampoo-spray in my house at all times to use on my grandchildren when they spend the night. Last year at their school it seemed they had an on-going lice problem. Once you get rid of the lice, use this to maintain. (BTW, the major lice eliminating products use different poisons so if you are having trouble killing the lice initially, switch to a different product that uses a different poison--we learned this the hard way.)

The shampoo smells nice and clean and fresh, my kid liked using it; we both felt the bunny rabbits made everything feel less repellent -- in sum, this purchase made the whole lousy experience a bit more decent and civilized.

After a lice scare in the classroom I ordered this product for our school aged children. It seems to have a pleasant smell! The bottle is tinier then I pictured when I ordered it, but if it prevents lice then it is worth the money!

Sorry to say that it didn't work for me. Lovely smell, and I like all the natural ingredients, but it is very expensive and just didn't do what it promised. I guess I'm just one of the 5% that it didn't work for ;)

I am unsure how well it repels lice but its a nice scent, not too over powering, and left my daughters hair nice. We had a flea outbreak and while under control now I got this to repel them fro her since she plays outside and on the floor a lot.

i have only used this shampoo with my son after we found out my daughter has lice; his hair is pretty short so i don't know if the shampoo helped but the bottom line is he did not get lice. i still use it every day, it leaves his hair nice. the smell is a little off-putting (i don't mind it but the kids don't like it) but it doesn't stay after you wash it out.

I don't like having to write such a negative review, but the facts are the facts. I have used this product almost exclusively since the beginning of the school year. It is now January and my daughter now has lice. I wont use this product again. In addition, it left my daughter's hair too dry. I had also purchased the spray and stopped using that because it made my daughter's hair look even more dry and left it less manageable.

Not only does it smell nice, it leaves hair shiny, bouncy and amazing. I got this for my daughter at camp and keep but omg because I LOVE how our hair looks and feels after My daughter was at a sleepover and all the kids but her got lice,so it's effective as well!

We were recently told that a child was in our home with head lice. We luckily came out unscathed but I purchased this along with the spray to use preventatively. So far so good and I'm happy we don't have to resort to harsh chemicals.

I LOVE this product. I have four children and during a recent school lice outbreak, our whole family was using this. Tea tree oil and rosemary can actually kill lice, not just prevent it. And this smells amazing. My 7 year old daughter uses it every day, not just during lice season. She sprays her head every morning and goes to school smelling like a day spa. It is fabulous! Worth every penny not to have nasty lice.

If there are lice issues in your child's school, then I would 100% recommend using this until things settle down. However, this left my daughter's hair very flat and dry, even with the use of the corresponding spray on conditioner. I wouldn't use this long term. I've switched her back to her original shampoo/conditioner, but she still uses the spray on conditioner after her shower. The smell is pretty strong, daughter didn't like it, but I found it calming!

My kids are not a fan of the smell but it has made their hair so much softer. No outbreak of lice at school yet so I can't review on the effectiveness, but will update if there is.

I bought this product to be used as a cleansing shampoo for myself, to be used once or twice a week. The first time I used it, my scalp broke out into a little rash. I thought it was something other than the shampoo but I don't use any other products, (not even conditioner everyday) on my hair or scalp, so I attributed the rash to stress.
