Natural is best!: my feedback

We had a recent scare at my sons school and after much research I decided on this product for the natural effectiveness. Great product

Pros
  • Very good product. Does not smell bad and it kind of leaves my child’s hair soft.
Cons
  • Could be more expensive than other lice shampoos

Works great! in my review

Protected our little girl when a lice outbreak came to her preschool, I'm a very happy momma and will continue to use this product. We were already using the spray with the new school year and the lice outbreak, I added in the shampoo, I'm glad I did!

Pros
  • Babo Botanicals
Cons
  • May need to be used in conjunction with other lice treatments

Smells amazing for my opinion

Smells so good! My kids have never had lice, but I'm trying to be proactive. One of my kiddos has really long hair and refuses to let me put it in a ponytail or braid. None of them have gotten lice, been using it for about six months. Will keep using it.

Pros
  • No lice yet, but the smell is a bit powerful. Hence, no lice :)
Cons
  • This does not kill lice!

but it's really not bad at all

I read some of the reviews about the smell so I was a bit wary of it, but it's really not bad at all! I think anyone buying this has to understand that's the smell of tea tree and not a bad product smell. It lathers up very nicely.

Pros
  • So far no Lice!!!! Great smell!!!!
Cons
  • May not work well for severe lice infestations

Repels Lice - By Eliminating Hair

I loved this shampoo & leave-in condition until I realized within a couple weeks of using it that my hair was falling out! Within a months time using this product I have lost around 60% of my hair and will require additional products to try and regrow all that has been lost. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

Pros
  • NO HARSH CHEMICALS OR IRRITANTS: Hypoallergenic to reduce the risk of allergic reactions and clinically tested under dermatological control. Sulfate, soy and dairy free. Made in USA and B Corp certified.
Cons
  • May not work as well on damaged or fragile hair

perfect for school: my feedback

The second I get that letter stating there is lice in the school, I have my child use this product on her hair. No lice at all when we use this product!

Pros
  • Shampoos & Rinses
Cons
  • May not work as well on certain hair colors

Works great, smells good!

So far works great! Smells good and a little goes a long way. Lathers nicely! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for lice protection for your kids.

Pros
  • Babo Botanicals is a brand that focuses on sustainability, and the shampoo's packaging is recyclable, making it an eco-friendly choice
Cons
  • Could cause hair to become knotted or tangled during application

Great smelling! on my review.

My kid is small and does not really get personal space. She also hugs kids and gets really close to them at school, playground, etc. This shampoo is my little helper. Who knows who has lice these days (especially with so outbreaks) and this gives me a little bit of peace of mind.

Pros
  • Health Care
Cons
  • May cause scalp tightness or sensitivity

Decent tea tree shampoo

Would like to see this rated by ewg as their other shampoos are. I am a big fan of this brand. Lice rampant in my daughter's school and this seemed to help. The end of winter and the kids coats all jammed together on their hooks was probably also a factor.

Pros
  • smells too rosmary-ish but perfect!
Cons
  • Users may need to use this shampoo more often than chemical treatments

might help - my new review

My daughter has used a similar product - Fairy Tales leave in conditioner. Probably got less lice with it, but it doesn't guarantee anything. We have had to deal with lice even with this kind of stuff

Pros
  • This shampoo is a perfect choice for kids as it’s free from harmful chemicals and parabens
Cons
  • May not be safe for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Very drying and smells like wet dog

After using RID due to a lice infestation, I bought 4 bottles of the shampoo after readying the reviews. The infestation is coming from kindergarten class. I gave one to my granddaughter's baby sitter, one to each parent (separate households), and one for me because she shared them with me. I personally do not like this as I find it very drying, and the smell reminds me of my dog after taking her to the groomers for a flea dip. The conditioner that I also bought was also unpleasant. I also…

Pros
  • SO FAR WE LOVE THIS SHAMPOO.
Cons
  • May leave hair feeling oily

Not sure that it works.

Shampoo leaves hair very dry, and I'm not sure that it works as advertised. Is quite expensive, also. Smell is nice. May dry out hair!

Pros
  • Good product when you need it
Cons
  • May dry out hair

Didnt do much for it’s money

It just didn’t seem to do much at all. I knosmy dogs have lice or something like that. The vet says no but none of them really look down here in Florida. Myhere is a thing called blackberry lice and all crop pickers know about it. No one else until you mention. Oh you mean. Yayausda it’s highly contagious right off the vine as you pick it animals get it everyone. I bought this and another spray scared of it or something named like that. You don’t have to rinse it out better stuff but not a lot…

Pros
  • work great on my daughter and lice was gone right 2 day after she used it
Cons
  • May not be as effective as chemical lice treatments

Didn't like smell.

I had to return this due to the smell. I found it repulsive. I never had the chance to see if it worked or not. Ingredients may cause allergic reactions.

Pros
  • Smells so good! Kids have never had lice but we use this occasionally as a back up as a preventative!
Cons
  • Ingredients may cause allergic reactions

Babo Botanicals Lice Repel Shampoo ROCKS!

I have been using this on my two daughters (ages 6 and 8) for the past year. After being exposed to lice several times, I'm happy to say they have not gotten head lice. I am sure it's because we use the lice repel shampoo and spray daily. Well worth the price for lice free heads and the tea tree scent is awesome! thank you babo!

Pros
  • 100% GOOD FOR YOUR KIDS: This powerful herbal blend helps defend against head lice. Rosemary tea tree shampoo is non-irritating for daily use when news of a lice outbreak comes. Tear-free.
Cons
  • May have a strong scent that lingers after use

So far so good. There was a lice breakout at my son's .

I guess the shampoo is doing what it's supposed to do. So far so good. There was a lice breakout at my son's school within the 1st week of school so I got this as a preventive. It does have a VERY strong fragrant. The tea tree is just overpowering. I heard that coconut is also a preventive so I bought a bottle of coconut shampoo and mix both bottles together and it did help tone down the smell. I also bought the conditioner in coconut and further reduce the smell. I bought the Babo spray also…

Pros
  • First Aid
Cons
  • Could cause hair to become frizzy or tangled

I highly recommend along with the conditioning spray

After my toddler came home from pre-school not once, but 3 separate times with a case of lice, I had to find a solution. This was it! Ever since using it she has worn her hair down and we haven’t encountered anymore lice. I highly recommend along with the conditioning spray

Pros
  • Worked perfectly! Highly recommend it!
Cons
  • May cause scalp dryness and flakiness

A Great Preventative

This shampooo is awesome, smells great and works! When ever we hear of a lice outbreak in the schools, we start using it on the little ones heads daily, plus we also love the shampoo & use it for normal use as well! Did you know that the Lice Prevention Center says to use tea tree oil once you hear about a lice outbreak as a preventative! Babo Botanicals tea tree oil in Lice Repel Shampoo made it easy for my family! The Lice Prevention Center says that lice hate tea tree oil & it will repel…

No Lice Naturally on my review.

I have used Babo's Lice Repel Shampoo for my two elementray school age boys during the latest lice outbreak at school and have emerged without lice. As soon as we heard about the lice problem at school we started shampooing with the Rosemary Tea Tree Shampoo. It has a herbal smell and lathers well when I use a little extra water when washing. I like knowing that I'm protecting my kids natually and most of all that we're less like to get lice!

Pros
  • good price for something we always use!
Cons
  • Could be irritating to eyes
