Review on Gevi 4 Cups Compact Coffee Maker with Reusable Filter: Perfect for Home and Office by Jim Agosta

I don't like it after 6 months

At first I thought it was a great little coffee maker but I was wrong. Everything I don't like about other coffee makers is in this one. First, the water tank is tiny and even a full kettle won't fill it, as coffee grounds absorb about as much as a cup. So I add water halfway through the brew cycle to get a full four cups. Secondly, if you don't catch the end of the brewing process but instead lift the lid, your coffee will taste like plastic due to the vapor that forms at the end. It's almost impossible to drink when the vapor ends up making contact with the plastic. Rough! Then my biggest problem is the spill coming out of the pot when someone is pouring. No matter what angle or how fast/slow the water is flowing, it always splashes. My counter is usually wet with coffee and now I just pour it over the sink. Finally, this thing is brewing very slowly. It takes a good 10 minutes to brew a tiny pot. So after 6 months of use I don't like it anymore. He goes to second hand.
