I didn't have high hopes for this product but it's basically just a long glowing bar. It came in a ziplock pouch in a Revain paper bag and with no information whatsoever. It has a power supply. So if you want to use it as an image, you'll need some extra connectors. And ways to connect the cut pieces to fit in the gaps. Besides, how the hell are you going to keep it out of sight?
