Construction is cheap and light, but what do you expect for $8.99? I plugged it in and it's almost as loud as my $85 unit. Overall this is excellent value for money. I installed it in my caravan. I even had someone drain the fuel without making a sound. Ring.com traffic alerts now trigger an Alexa procedure that turns on this alarm in my car via a 12V DC Wi-Fi switch. Spotlights and a deafening fire bell on my building are also part of the program. Now passers-by receive an overwhelming cheer before they even approach my van.
