This siren will get your attention! That and Alexa help me fast!

I used this siren and strobe light to set up an alarm. I am wheelchair bound and sometimes I get into situations where I really need help, but I cannot reach my phone or the various alarm buttons that are located around my house. I set up a system where I use Alexa to activate a smart plug (named SOS) that provides reduced power for it. Now when I need emergency help, I just say "Alexa, turn on SOS" and a siren starts wailing at my son's house next door. This saved my life once before!

Pros
  • The best in his niche
Cons
  • The list will be long.

WAKE ME UP! on Horns & Sirens

This is part of my basement's power failure alarm and swamp system. My other water sensor alarm just wasn't loud enough to be heard much higher than a floor if you were awake; I needed something to wake me up from a deep sleep on the third floor. The system is powered by a 12 VDC power supply consisting of 8 D-cells; It activates the siren when there is a power outage in the house or when the water in the sump gets too high due to a pump failure. I really didn't know what sound to expect when I

Perfect for my use, with front point alarm

I need a home alarm siren that I can hear around the house. I've tried so many Z-Wave sirens I'm fed up they're harmful. So I bought this, a 12 volt AC-DC wall station with connectors, a Honeywell Zwave wall outlet plug and cord. To be honest it was all cheaper than any custom Zwave siren. But I set up this rule in my alarm panel to turn the outlet on every time a tamper event occurs and turn it off when it's cleared. And it works perfectly. And extremely loud. Now I can hear my alarm clock in…

  • Easy to read control panel

Great value

Construction is cheap and light, but what do you expect for $8.99? I plugged it in and it's almost as loud as my $85 unit. Overall this is excellent value for money. I installed it in my caravan. Although it already has an alarm, it won't go off until someone breaks or bangs on the window. The homeless used to look in my van regularly, looking for unlocked doors. I even had someone drain the fuel without making a sound. Ring.com traffic alerts now trigger an Alexa procedure that turns on this…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Not dope for a car alarm despite the looks

Maybe it was my fault because it looked like a typical car alarm siren so I bought it. I have a Viper car alarm and used it in place of my old one. Everything is fine with the wiring, there are no complaints. After connecting I tested it. The chirp of a hand and the chirp of disarmament sounds like it's completely submerged, definitely not a chirp, more like a bang. When I hit the panic button the siren sounds great, a little quieter than the viper but quite loud. But a pop instead of a chirp…
