Immediately after purchasing this I thought this was a great deal. It won't be long before the congregation moves south. The instructions are rather vague and built around an installation package (sold separately). The plate itself appears solid, but it bulges in the middle (the instructions imply that the router's weight offsets it, but it doesn't). It has an "alignment system" (plastic thumbscrews) which is useless as the screws loosen due to the router's vibration. For this reason, they have to be reset every time! If you take the time and effort to make some additional mods, it can be decent at best. Update: 04/27 a set of spacer rings makes no sense. The smallest diameter is only suitable for straight bits and 1/8 round bits. More will not be deleted. And the next size up leaves you with a 3 inch hole, so that's dumb. Get ready to buy another set of rings. I'm sure they will be happy to sell you a set. smdh.
