Review on 📦 Pelican 1650 Rolling Case Without Foam - Black by Miro Dadee

Wearing out my suitcases so my camera gear doesn't have to. I recently bought some astrophotography gear and needed a new bag, the rest of my lenses and my photography gear. The first thing I will say is that he is BIG. I took it west and it only got out of the car 2-3 times because it's heavy. It has casters which is good but if you lift it up you can work. I'm in pretty good shape but that's about 100 pounds of which 35 is only the case. It also fits on my tripod without a head. I have a Gitzo 2531ex which just fits the length of the case. Get this if you need a safe and durable (dropped and banged into walls a few times already) case for home and car storage and maybe air travel if you're willing to pay the overweight fee. I would not use this as a field case as it is too bulky/heavy to carry anywhere. I have a backpack in which I take the lenses and accessories necessary for this mission. In general, I love pelican cases, and as my gear grew, I increased the size of the cases. I can't say enough about them and you won't be disappointed. Also, grab an organizer with a lid if you have a lot of small items like cables, maps, filters, batteries, intervalometers like me. It really helps not to mess things up.
