I'm 5ft 2in, 230lbs and have larger calves. I measured my calves and ankles (17" and 11") so I ordered an XXL according to their size chart, but they are so tight they hurt a lot after wearing them for just a few hours. I thought they might loosen up a bit but they ended up cutting my circulation so much that by the end of the night I couldn't even take them off and had to ask someone else to take them off. It was painful. The quality of these items seems good and I was very happy with the open toe design, but if you are a size larger you may want to order a size up (if available). I will be purchasing another brand that is a larger size information and hopefully one that is better suited to larger sizes.
