Unfortunately, the word "leather" is often used when referring to shoes made of plastic or fabric that resembles leather. In most cases, the problem is that the shoe will not "wear out" and stretch to accommodate your unique foot shape. Although these shoes are labeled as leather, they are definitely NOT leather. But they are very comfortable and I would recommend them. I just wish there was a rule against naming leather unless it contains leather.
