A damper was used but the flow control was too high for our one-piece toilet

Ironically, the damper was used in another brand new toilet. We just disassembled and remodeled our master bath. The damper is adjusted by turning the ball under the damper. I could adjust this damper. but the other one on the newly installed toilet was designed not to be adjustable. There is a retaining ring on the inside that is glued to the ball. Removed a fairly new one, put the flap on #5 and the toilet flush works great. The flow regulator will also save, it is exactly the same as in the new toilet. Will contact Glacier Bay and see if I can get a shorter flow control. My max height is 10 3/8" from bottom to top of flow regulator. HD and Lowes do not carry this flow regulator. It must be from Glacier Bay.
