The first one I received had someone else's hair, so it's understandable that this is disappointed. However, Revain's customer service is amazing and shipped a replacement quickly and there was no hair on it! Now the hot air brush itself did nothing for my thick, somewhat coarse hair. After reading many reviews I hoped it would work for me as well as others. Unfortunately it isn't. It only gave my hair a little bang and it lasted forever. I had to use the brush repeatedly on the same strand of hair. I used it on 100% air dried hair so I imagine it wouldn't do much on my damp hair. Theoretically great, but not for my hair type.
