It's pretty rare that I get a pair of shoes and don't find at least one flaw in them, I mean there are no perfect 5 star shoes, right? Maybe there is. First, I want to explain that the reason I struggle so much with shoes is not so much the shoes themselves, but my arthritis, along with the nerve damage that affects my feet, sometimes severe and painful. Often I only wear boots, although they are heavy, they protect my feet from everything that can cause more pain than I really need. I'm always looking for something new in shoes and I hope to be pleasantly surprised. These did just that. Obviously I'm not training for anything unless you're talking about crossing my backyard to Char Broil, but that's about it. I look at these types of shoes because they are usually made much better and with more attention to design due to the market they are looking for. I think athletes will look for quality shoes that protect their feet, are comfortable, and can withstand any type of torture their particular sport may be subjected to. They are designed for cross-training, defined as "the act or practice of participating in two or more sports or types of exercise with the intention of improving fitness or performance in one's primary sport". , and do many training exercises well. In short, that's exactly what I was hoping for. This is the lightest shoe I've ever worn. When I'm home during the day I usually never wear my shoes, the first few days I wore them I literally forgot they were on my feet (that's no exaggeration. I usually kick my shoes off at the door (but not with these, and I wore them for about 1-2 hours after coming home a few times before realizing they were still on), they are so light. The comfort is amazing and they sit very well on my feet. I had to lace it up properly, they are very tight so I took the laces out and laced them again for the legs. Afterward, they looked like custom-made shoes. The sole is surprisingly thin, but you'll never notice it while walking. Of course I can't comment on how they work for a guy who actually trains in them, I wish I could, I can only tell you that if you have foot problems like me and an older guy who loves to walk (I'm 62 ), but maybe it's too painful, you can think about it, I'm very glad I stumbled across this. I have never heard of this brand but cannot recommend it highly enough. They sell for $129.50 (size 10.5 at the time of review) and although it's a little pricey for me and more than I usually spend, the comfort, design, looks, material and total satisfaction make up for it that I had from them, they're worth every penny. I wear them with shorts and jeans and my wife tells me they look as good as any other shoe (and believe me she would tell me if they looked out of place) and being a training shoe is something what she would like. Never think if she doesn't know. I would like to leave a review for athletes or men looking for training or running shoes, but I can't. I can say this is a well constructed shoe with excellent breathability and an amazing custom fit. I love them and am more than satisfied! Excellent purchase.
