I installed one of these and it didn't last a year (during that time it had 2 dozen activations). Unfortunately, the exchange will be painful. I put it on my tractor and really wanted waterproof switches because I use lights for clearing snow. However, the tractor stays in the garage or shed 99% of the time; I think he spent maybe 3 days a year in the rain, now he doesn't work anymore. Power is there, but the switchable leg gives me a whopping 2V instead of 12V. I assume it's no longer working because it's not waterproof, although it's also possible it's not working because it's just junk .
