Review on 📸 101AV 8CH Security Camera System: Full HD 1080P DVR/NVR with 1TB HDD, HDMI/VGA/BNC Video Out, Mobile Apps, Analog & Network Cam Compatibility by Nathaniel Collins

I bought this DVR to replace a computer surveillance system I built 8 years ago. I needed more storage than a 1TB OEM hard drive and I replaced it with a 6TB Western Digital hard drive (CCTV camera model). Although I was nervous about the supposedly easy installation of the DVR, I quickly hooked up 8 camera cables, an HDMI monitor cable, a USB mouse cable, an Ethernet cable to the router, and a power line. Then I turned on the power. and held his breath. Splash screens appeared on the monitor in 10 seconds! After a simple setup, all 8 cameras displayed well and I was very happy. Apparently I entered the admin password incorrectly because a day later I got an error message saying the PW was wrong. (I swapped the ethernet connection for office wiring to get rid of the long cable connecting the cable modem to the DVR - which works great btw! ) I called the seller's support and had the "security code" within minutes , which was required to reset the DVR password. That also worked great. I also checked that the cameras are recording and I can see any date and time I want. Recordings are VERY easy to select and view! This DVR is beautiful and as easy to set up as advertised. This is a five star product as is the seller's support!
