Easy installation and setup combined with very helpful technical support

I bought this DVR to replace a computer surveillance system I built 8 years ago. I needed more storage than a 1TB OEM hard drive and I replaced it with a 6TB Western Digital hard drive (CCTV camera model). Although I was nervous about the supposedly easy installation of the DVR, I quickly hooked up 8 camera cables, an HDMI monitor cable, a USB mouse cable, an Ethernet cable to the router, and a power line. Then I turned on the power. and held his breath. Splash screens appeared on the monitorโ€ฆ

convenient remote viewing on mobile phone

I ordered this from Revain to replace the difficult to use DVR that came with my camera system. The previous DVR used remote viewing software that was difficult to set up. I didn't know enough about ports and IPs to get it working without professional IT help every time it crashed. This new DVR arrived yesterday. Took me about an hour to put it into action. My existing cameras were recognized immediately. I then downloaded a cell phone viewing app (Guarding Vision) and had remote access. I then

Customer service is top notch!

This is an updated review. After I had issues with my original device and posted a negative review here, it seems the company contacted me to fix the issue. Five business days after I replied to them (usual shipping time via UPS Ground from West Coast to East Coast), a new DVR arrived with a return label for the defective unit. I changed everything and the new dash cam worked for a couple of weeks with no problems, except that it still kept making annoying beeps from time to time even though Iโ€ฆ
