This shoe bench was the perfect size for my needs. I needed 2 of these so I ordered one in this brown and the other in natural. They were easy to put together. My son helped me so it was quicker than doing it on my own. However, I was able to easily make it myself by following the included instructions, which were simple and to the point. Before I started, I counted the various screws, washers, nuts, and bolts. and I've separated them so I can easily access them at the time they're needed in the build process. This has become much easier and faster. When we finished, they were very strong. I don't usually like darker finishes on my furniture because they scratch more easily. I'm glad it matches my living room color scheme. Whether it scratches or not, time will tell. The natural shoe bench looks very nice and I am very happy with it. I have this in my entryway along with another shoe bench in the same finish so they go really well together. I can't find anything bad about these benches. They are durable and good looking; easy to assemble; and the right size for the space I need to place them. I am happy with this bench and recommend Gold Armor.
