I bought Pyle because it has feet on the bottom of the unit. I don't have a power rack so the legs were a good selling point, although I could easily add my own to each block. The reviews were good too. It seems to do the trick as an air conditioner, but it doesn't work as a surge protector. Lightning struck 3 houses away from me, causing an electric shock in my house. My Blu-ray 4k player's power supply burned out, as did my TV's Ethernet port. If this device worked, you would say it could, then my Blu-ray player and TV would be fine. I have cheap $14 surge protectors at home and nothing else has been damaged. There aren't even any electronics residing on the same line switch that wasn't connected to Pyle. I do not recommend this model and suggest buying another if you need good protection.
