The leash part of this is worth 5 stars alone. I've found the leash to be super useful for regular walks and runs and for leaving my dog at a bike rack while I go into the store. However, the full product is not great for use with dogs who lunge, and the mesh bag slips around a lot. In order to use this with my very squirrel-motivated 35lb dog for comfortable hands free walks, I've had to replace the waist strap with a padded one I removed from an old worn-out backpacking bag. When this wears out, I'll be looking for one that comes with a padded waist strap instead.
