In general I like this nozzle! I've used it as a background light the most (see photos) and I love the bottleneck you can get. I've mostly used mine with the flash + bow adapter. I tried it with my candy bar and wasn't too thrilled. The lens appears to be glass, while the rest is smooth but durable plastic. I like the smooth movement when rotating to adjust the lens. It's very easy to move around and stay in place once you're done. You can point it straight up, fully extend it, and the lens won't slide down under gravity. Gels can be easily added or removed. My only complaint about gels is that they seem to break easily. In the end I have to give 4 stars because mine didn't come out exactly like the photo. It's very close, but I don't have a grid like the pictures here. This can be seen clearly in my photos. I didn't really like it on my compact either. Everything comes in a cute bag. I like it very much and would consider buying another one.
