After researching many devices online, I decided on this Pioneer Blu-ray/DVD/CD recorder. I am very happy with my purchase. This is a high quality machine that is easy to use and capable of handling different sizes of discs at different speeds. I plugged it in and it was ready to use. I already had a program to start the device, so it wasn't difficult to work with. I just got a new computer and was unhappy that they no longer come with two drives. So I had to buy an external unit. I'm on the road so I can easily connect to my laptop when needed. I made a Blu-ray to try. I had several 25GB drives which meant I had to change a few settings to get those drives to work. It only took a few hits and I was ready. My old computer took 3 hours to load the copy disc, then another 45 minutes. Copy. This took 45 minutes. Total for copying 2 hours of cinema. Hooray! It works! And the copy was just as beautiful as the original. I think this is a very good buy! It's definitely worth the extra $20 over LG devices to accommodate different size drives. The cheaper ones don't.
