As my 2 boys had to share a room they needed separate rooms. So I built them some "house beds". I liked that they only get 12 volts on the switch and headlight. I installed the 120v connections behind a secure panel and routed an on/off switch to the appropriate headboard areas. I installed 2 lamps as reading lights in the ceiling and 2 in their headboards/"treasure chests" which are 2 nifty little toy boxes in the headboards of their beds. Very neat setup and the boys love them. I hid the remotes because I didn't want them turning off each other's lights or messing up the color spectrum or brightness levels. I put them on the warmest setting as they often turn on their reading lights before bed.
