I was going to give this unit 5 stars overall but a major flaw dragged it down a few notches. First I bought this hose for my truck that was going to haul my Corvette on an open trailer a total of 4,600 miles per week. The trailer has a large stone shield covering the vehicle. I wanted to keep an eye on it when traveling so I bought this set. The abundance of mounting options is impressive, and the willingness of sellers to provide additional mounts and cameras is remarkable. Everything was going fine, but I had a feeling there would be an issue with the camera mount. I mounted the camera on the top edge of the rock guard and it seemed perfect for the moment. More on that in a second. On a 50-mile test run, I was happy with the camera's resolution both day and night. Even in tunnels or in bad weather, the camera has never jumped or turned off. approx. After 1000 miles of my ride the camera lost adjustment and dropped a bit. At the next gas station I adjusted it and tightened the tiny mounting screws, SMALL was the keyword. After I drove about 500 miles the camera dropped again and then it wasn't 50 miles. fell again. At the last stop that day I re-tightened everything and then added extra reinforcement with zip ties and tape. It held up well until I reached my first goal. On the way back, however, things went wrong again, and before I could get to the nearest gas station, the camera detached from its mount, detached itself and is now lying in a ditch somewhere on the freeway. 40 east of Flagstaff, Arizona. I was speechless. My only recommendation would be to have a much larger diameter hand wheel bolt attachment which would make tightening easier and overall more secure.
