is a great tool. high power for screwdriving. I just spent a day building 8 foot tall shelving in my garage, open shelving in my kitchen, and shelving in my basement for food storage. it made the job easier. My arm was worn out before that shock motor. The battery was still very full after probably 5 hours of use. I drilled a dozen or so holes with no problems. Then spent hours driving screws into 2x4 and plywood. I'm just a regular guy doing simple projects at home. There were many of these tools. everything i really need I have no doubt that the brushless motor version is more efficient and powerful, but unless you literally don't do this kind of work professionally day in and day out, I can't imagine this brushed motor version not being enough for the weekend (at home ) military work . The work I did today is the hardest day I've ever had with an instrument. and I don't think I didn't even use half the battery. I only have 1 battery. began to charge fully. and when i was done i put it in the charger and it was charged in about 30 minutes. (and I don't even have a charger. just the basic one). Definitely a great device and a great price. In the future if that one fails at some point, or if it does, I'll definitely be buying the brushless version just to try it and see if it's any better different or something. But for the home projects I do, this tool is definitely good.
