Battery dead during installation
Both alarms installed right out of the box. The second alarm clock started beeping immediately after installation. So much for a 10 year old battery, even 10 seconds wasn't enough. Kidde, I have your products all over my house. I am very disappointed in this. You should never sacrifice your safety for inferior products.
