Bought this for a moving truck that I drove cross country recently. I've only used the included suction cup directly on the window and the thing has NEVER moved a millimeter. Unlike many others I've bought in the past, it held on with no issues. I like that it's easy to set up. It also comes with a base to mount it on dashboards that don't have a smooth surface, but I didn't use it as I didn't know if I could easily remove it from a moving truck. However, it can be easily removed from the windshield and is immediately ready to be used in another car. Highly recommended.
