Review on Inverter for plasma cutting BRIMA CUT-40 by Adam Domaski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I bought a plasma cutter for work on the site and around the house. The construction had just begun, it was necessary to dismantle some of the buildings on the site, and a lot of other household chores. I chose a model in advance on the Internet, read and watched videos, only then I went to the store. I am satisfied with my device, I did not immediately adapt, at first the first cuts came out crooked. Now I've gotten used to it. A lot of consumables came with the plasma cutter - nozzles, electrodes, cathodes, s, a swirler, a ceramic cap (insulator), etc. In principle, consumables serve for a long time if you already have the skill of work. If you are in a hurry, the nozzle will quickly burn out, and the torch may not cut through the metal, especially at low current. Very powerful ground clamp. There are no problems with thin metal at all, you can cut at 10-20 amperes, without problems, like clockwork. After 3 mm, you already need to be more careful, your hand will twitch, and bumps and sagging will go, so you need to monitor the position of the burner. In principle, at first you can use templates or a guide. Up to 8 mm of metal, in principle, the cut suits me in terms of quality, even. But after 8 and before 12 there is already a burr. But it is normally removed even with a glove, although not all of it. But there are already no problems with the grinder. Basically, practice is the key. I picked up the right air and current - that's it, there are no problems, the cuts are clear and even. What else I like, the arc is adjustable with a on. Those. not like in some devices, brought it to the surface and immediately an arc. And the inexperienced hand begins to twitch. But not here, brought it up, prepared it, turned it on with the on - everything is ok. I use the device quite a lot, I have never regretted the purchase. Cutting is pleasant and easy with skill, and 2x faster than oxyfuel cutting.

Pros
  • low noise, powerful ground clamp, cuts metal well up to 12 mm, adjustable arc, even cuts, it is more convenient to cut than a grinder, even sheet metal. Easy to cut there. where not to get close to the grinder
Cons
  • no, i like everything
