Review on ⚡ Enhanced Xantrex PH-1800-GFP PowerHub: Optimize Your Power Generation by Cameron Novak

I bought this unit a little over three years ago. I used it as a backup power supply and just left it plugged in to keep the batteries charged. I had no problems. About a month ago I connected two 135w solar panels to the device. I was hoping to go partially "offline" in my house. Everything worked perfectly, the batteries were charged well. Before I could connect an AC load to the unit, it started flashing error code E3. This means a large AC load. The problem was and is, I haven't started any of it yet. I called Xantrex. They told me that this is a common problem with these devices after 3-4 years and that it cannot be fixed. It had a two year guarantee. This is what they emailed me: Dear Sir, Unfortunately the device is beyond repair. We have a loyalty program that means 30% off the list price ($999.99) which means $699.99 plus shipping and taxes. If you are interested, please call us. Many Thanks. Kind regards. I paid 483.61 plus 39.00 shipping for my new device. You can see the loyalty program is not that much. I understand that the warranty has expired and I was willing to pay a fair price for the repair. It's not an option with this block. If I had known that this device was no longer working properly and could not be repaired, I would never have bought it. I have since contacted Xantrex again asking for a full refund but they have not responded. I will contact the Better Business Bureau about this. with this paragraph it seemed to fix itself. This has worked well for the last few months. I used to only give this item one star because it could not be repaired and was not working properly. I've changed my rating to three stars now because it works well, but I know that if it breaks the game.
