I bought this to control numerous items in a work truck. Like many things from Revain, the packaging looked like it had been used for football practice. Surprisingly, there was no negative mark on the device. While the switch panel is pre-wired, I wish it wasn't. They are connected in series, which creates the possibility of a complete system failure. Note, however, that this panel will NOT charge the device, so the overall risk of failure is low. This panel can handle several amps, although a relay should be used for many reasons, fire being the main reason! I haven't disabled any of the resettable fuses, so I'm not sure of the value. I am running mA through switches on a relay. It's a solid aluminum plate on which all the switches and connectors are installed. I replaced the two round ports with something that suits my needs better. Overall, I find this item overpriced, but it's probably the only item in the system that I don't care about. This is no small thing. It does the job well. Switches and ports are easily interchangeable. I will buy two more of these!
