Bought on the advice of my daughter. Apparently it has become a popular accessory for twenty-somethings. I wanted to create an atmosphere in my home with lighting. I have a lot of plants and this lamp really makes them pop. What I like: It creates a unique atmosphere in your home. It takes a little experimentation to find the right position and distance to get what you like. I thought it was fun to do something besides watching TV :-) Then you need to find an outlet nearby! The lamp has height and tilt adjustments to fine-tune the position. There is also a dimmer control. Room for improvement: There is a screw that can be loosened/tightened to change the position of the lamp head. This requires a Phillips screwdriver and I would prefer if it was a screw that you can loosen and tighten by hand. Something to know: USB power cord, so you must use a USB plug with it. . Make sure you are using a 2.1A plug. A 1A plug will not power it.
