The mount is a bit flimsy as others have said but the light is very bright and more than enough for any small aquarium/refuge. In just two days my plants have adapted to the light and are showing healthy light green growth. I am very satisfied with this lamp. If you're looking for something colorful to grow your plants, look no further. EDIT: Woke up this morning and noticed my plants are pearls. To the uninitiated, this means they're photosynthesizing so much that excess gas builds up around them. Good sign! A plant actually gives off a constant stream of really tiny bubbles. This light must make them happy.
