In terms of the product, this device works. I needed to replace a cache aerator in a house I recently bought and without sizing standards, I was having a hard time figuring out what would actually fit in my faucet. This product is not sold in local hardware or plumbing stores (big boxes or other stores). If I were to build a new one I would never use the cache aerator design. Between the key and the teeth on the aerator, this thing is a problem waiting to be solved. The plastic teeth in both the key and the aerator are only prone to damage due to their design. This can quickly make it difficult to install or remove, making it difficult to use. Are you replacing the cache aerator with this one? Great, that'll be fine. American Standards' key design is a massive improvement over the design I had in my house. Build new? Buy another faucet and aerator.
