The product is compact and easily connects to a USB stick. It can be placed anywhere within 8 inches of a USB hub. Works great if you don't want it to read and write CDs, CDs, or DVDs. If you want to do this, all you have to do is uninstall it, restart your computer, then reinstall it and repeat this process (give or take) about 20 times, and it will happen to work one of those times. Would you like to switch to a different CD? NO PROBLEM, just start the process again. I bet there's probably a way to get this to work, but I spent an hour and a half on it and I'm over it. i will send it back
