I didn't know much about Chromebooks and I didn't care because I was a firm believer in a tablet and that in 2017 your phone was all you really needed. I have a PC but everyone uses it except me, I just haven't used it. Like life things change and sometimes you feel like you are missing out in terms of performance like I did with my trusty tablet. I bought a Chromebook to get more done on the go, and being a disk-driven user it seemed logical to do so. I honestly have to say it works and is the perfect stepping stone between tablet and laptop and I personally find it easier to use, much faster, much lighter and much easier to carry. Storage issues are mostly solved with the help of the cloud and a USB or micro SD card. I must say that now with much larger capacity flash drives and SD cards, there is no longer a need for a hard drive. Personally, I don't need TB of storage, but I can get external one if needed. Good product. I'm glad I rolled the dice. Another benefit is simply the reduced likelihood of viruses being so easy to get. It might not be for everyone, but it does what it does very well.
