stainless steel scrubbers have gone from something I knew nothing about to something I can't be without! And this one with smaller links is much more efficient. I no longer use steel wool or copper scrubbers that fall apart and stick to food. Not only do I work great with cast iron, but I also use it in my stainless steel cookware and add it to my suburban mugs with soap, water, and maybe a spoonful of baking soda. If you shake it inside for a while, it will do a great job of removing yesterday's coffee grounds or smoothie residue. I also use it to peel potatoes, ginger and other root vegetables.
