Review on Presto Microwave Bacon Cooker 05101 - Enhanced Black by Jignesh Shaffer

I don't make bacon any differently! That's what makes it so easy with a simple cleanup.

That's the only way I make bacon! That's what makes it so easy with a simple cleanup. When I was visiting my family, I even took it to use there. I suggest you use paper towels on top and on both sides to catch any fat that comes off during cooking. I get a whole pound of bacon on by stacking the slices on three plastic coasters. I cook a few pounds at a time so drain the fat into a glass container between uses to get rid of later. I also laid some parchment paper along the top of each rack. This will make it easier to remove the bacon from the grate on the plate to level it. Of course, when the bacon is ready, it is folded in half. You can straighten it if you take it off while it's still hot/warm. Otherwise you rolled bacon, which is fine too. Anyway, the taste is the same. Microwaving creates a lot of steam, so the paper towels mentioned earlier will help with that, too. I can use the same paper towels over bacon at least 4 or 5 times. Yes, I cook 4 to 5 pounds of bacon - one pound at a time, one at a time. They tan a little, but don't burn. I wipe out all the steam in the microwave between every pound. It's steam, not fat, so each rubs off easily. All the lube ends up in a black bowl for easy disposal after every pound.
