Finally able to hook this thing up to my trolling motor. I have carefully positioned the connectors so there is no possibility of misconnecting them. Went like clockwork. until I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Nothing. All connections, switches and dials checked. All checked well, but there is no electricity. I had a spare that I wanted to give my son for his trolling motor. This block was DOA in a box. ONLY 30 days to return it so they are rubbish. Would DEFINITELY not recommend such fragile equipment for boating. If you still buy this thing, position the connectors so that IF yours fails, you can disconnect the battery and motor from the unit and connect the two wires together and still have the motor usable.
