It took me 1 minute, no tools required. There are three clips to remove the air intake and then you lift it up, take out the old filter, check the canister to make sure there's nothing inside that you want to wipe out before just popping in the new one. fits perfectly like a glove and you put the air intake cover back on, clamp the 3 clips and close the hood. It took me 60 seconds total and my husband was proud and said never pay more than $20 for a filter, buy the best one you can for less than that and never pay for the installation. Save $60 or more. It took 60 seconds and cost us less than $20. I'm not afraid of changing the filter either as it showed me what to pull and do, from the hood latch to the clips, and let me do it. It couldn't be easier.
