I got the first one and had to return it because the moment I turned it on the splash screen was garbled and clearly didn't have the resolution promised. When the windows opened it was the same. Because I ordered a replacement monitor instead of a refund, I wasn't charged for shipping (thanks Revain!). The new monitor works great at full resolution of 2560 x 1440 via HDMI. It is powered by a laptop with i7 7000 series processor. I use a 13.3 inch 1920x1080 2-in-1 laptop in "standing mode" with this monitor on top, so I now have two screens that don't take up any more desk space. desk than would be occupied by this one monitor. Luckily, the laptop has no problem managing both screens at full resolution. This is an IPS screen, good viewing angles, colors are juicy and correct, the higher resolution on the 24-inch screen is an exception. I have always liked ViewSonic products because they are excellent and affordable. You can buy with confidence because if one of them doesn't work and you order a replacement instead of a refund, you even save on return shipping!
