We've had this sink for about a year and it's great. It replaced a 6-7 inch deep construction sink. A significant increase in volume of the sink is great! Easy washing of large items. We went back and forth between a bathroom, a 50/50 split and a 60/40 split. We're glad we went with the 50/50 split. I fought the urge to add more cushioning material. I gave up and it wasn't necessary. The sink is sufficient in the form in which it is supplied. We combined this with a silent version of Liberation and are very happy with the results. Wire mesh is also good as it minimizes scratches. I don't care if the sink is scratched, but I don't like a noisy sink. Think! We haven't had any issues with draining the water as some have reported. We use Bar Keepers Friend for a good clean and only dishwashing liquid for intermediate cleaning. We recommend it and will definitely buy it again.
