Review on Pirelli P Zero 275/35 R20 102Y summer by Wiktor Niekrasz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As such, there are no disadvantages, it is convenient to use.

I didn’t buy tires, they were from the factory on MB CLS 400. All-wheel drive, the tires themselves are of different widths, front 255/35 R19, rear 285/30 R19. I will say that for their conditions these are excellent tires, their problem is their narrow specialization - to drive around the city and good quality tracks in dry and, preferably, hot weather, the warmer the better. Under these conditions, they are very seductive and loving, they allow you to really enjoy the precise reactions to the steering wheel, from the amazing handle, in short, no complaints, on the contrary, everything is more than fine. In addition, from experience, they show good stamina (I skated two seasons, it should be enough for a couple more, judging by the reserve, it’s enough for one more with a margin) and strength, fell into pits with completely fierce breakdowns (so much so that a couple of times a Mercedes after being hit from the pit, he believed that he had got into an accident and automatically unlocked the doors and turned on the emergency gang), there was not a single hernia on the tires, nothing. On the other hand, they instantly float up in puddles, and in general, in too wet weather, you should drive the car very carefully, since its reactions will differ from them in the most striking way. The same applies to sand in corners, you should also pay attention, because if you hit it in a turn at speed, it can surprise you in the most unpleasant way. In the off-season, it tans early in the cold, so it’s worth changing it for the winter in advance. Noisy, nokian R2 winter Velcro will be even quieter. In addition, which is very strange, it collects all the screws from the road. It is not clear what caused this, but no rubber in similar sizes has ever shown itself like this on other cars. I'm not sure if it's just the rubber, but I wouldn't rule it out. As for the track, it’s strange, I see a lot of reviews here that, they say, it’s uncontrollable in a track, I’ll say that I personally didn’t notice anything like that. It is clear that the track will affect to one degree or another, especially on low-profile tires with a hard bead, but I didn’t notice anything supernatural, the same dunlop on a gtra behaves much worse in it.

Pros
  • Holds up well until the very end. Delightfully sharp steering response, very strong sidewall. Keeps on stock is also very good, enough is normal.
Cons
  • It keeps very poorly on the water, early aquaplaning, sensitive to the quality of the road, does not like sand on it, is noisy, has a strange craving for masochism - all the self-tapping screws that are left lying on the roads will be yours.
