Beautiful expressive ring. The only pedal I have at the moment is the b2.1 Zoom, which isn't great in hot hands, but I took it to the music store to try out the SYB-5 boss. I tried the SYB-5 because it's the number one thing people use with hot gear. I had so much fun tinkering around in the shop that I didn't have time to look at other pedals. You can easily get by without buying anything other than SYB and compression multi-effects and so on. I have ordered syb and am hoping to get BEF Pro and maybe OC-3. I recommend this ring to anyone who wants to try new sounds. , you've learned to play notes fairly accurately, maybe even all the existing scales, but this will add a whole new sound and make it a little more complex. Also, it's GREAT for stage presence, you should get it even if you just have a phaser effect or something!
